Big difference between both teams. Nacional is from the first league, is running very well recently and will not rest important players. They will play very serious because they want to advance to the semi-final. Valdevez is from 2 divisions under Nacional and will play the game of theyr lives. Anyway the club is with some problems and they lost some of the best players recently. Prediction score: Nacional to win by 2 or 3 goals.

Belenenses has 4 players suspended in defence, 1 injured in attack and the key player in midfield (Zé Pedro) is injured too. The coach called some players from the U19 team. Probably no one will start but, at least 3 will be in bench.
Rio Ave havent important misses.

2nd League game

I'm so sorry but this weekend i cant find any very good bet in Portugal. There are a lot of games but i cant see any clear favourite to cover the asian line.
In first league Braga will receive Rio Ave. Could be an easy home win but Braga isnt regular recently. Belenenses will receive Trofense. Well... here we can have one home win but Belenenses is playing so bad this season and Trofense will play to not lose. Benfica will receive Nacional and i have to believe that they will not win but probably will. FC Porto at home against Maritimo will be not easy and FC Porto can have a bad results after 9 wins in row. P Ferreira and Setubal is one unpredictable game but i believe that home is home. Sporting will win against Academica. Yes they will but it's a very small odd and the result could not cover the asian line -1.5 goals. Leixões against Amadora..... hummm maybe i will come back to this game but Amadora need points so one draw is not impossible neither one away win. Finally Naval against Guimarães... Naval never won, at home, against Guimarães. I promess i will think better about this game. The asian line seems fine 0:0.
So, if i cant see easy winners in 1st league lets try it on 2nd league.

Olhanense runs in first with 4 wins and 1 draw at home. Last round they won away and are very moralized in first place. Leiria draw at home and have a poor record away.
Olhanense has 2 players injured but no one of thems are regular players. Leiria had one hard week. The directory made one proposal to reduce players salaries for half after the bad results and the moral in the team isnt the best. They started the season to fight for one of the 2 top places but seems that will be impossible hit this target unless they change a lot the recent results. This could be one point of change but with the bad moral they have i didnt believe that they will do a nice game at Olhanense.
No big stakes but i think that this game deserves a try. Soon you will see it available under better bookies then Bwin. The asian line didnt comes out yet but i expect it Home -1 @ 2.00

This is the last game of round 9 and it's not a good matchup for FC Porto. Last season they draw 2-2 (Amadora scored 2 goals in the lasts 5 minutes). 2 seasons ago FC porto won easy by 3-0 but the game was at Benfica Stadium because the Amadora Stadium was waiting for a new field (green). 3 seasons ago Amadora won by 2-1. 4 seasons ago they draw 1-1.
Both teams played this weekend for Portuguese Cup. FC Porto won at Cinfaes by 4-1 resting 8 players from the regular 11 and Amadora won after 120 minutes playing against one team from 2 divisions under. Amadora played with almost players from the regular eleven and, some that were in bench comes in to help the team to beat Moscavide.
The most important problem at Amadora is the money. Players want to receive theyr salarary and, once again, they says that, if the money didnt come they will not play against FC Porto. They had the same problem in round 10 and eleven before play against P Ferreira and Sporting. In both games they lost without score any goal. Amadora is in a bad run with 5 games without win in first league and only scored 2 goals lasts 5 games.
FC Porto as no important misses and will play with the best eleven to win and advance to the 2nd position with same points as Leixões and 2 less then Benfica. Helton will be back in the net. Pedro Emanuel and Bruno Alves in defence. Raul Meireles, Fernando and Lucho in midfield and C Rodrigues plus Lisandro in attack. Fucile, Rolando and Hulk will continue in the stat team.
I'm not sure what will happen until the start of this game. At this moment it's early to know if Amadora will receive and play, if they will not receive and play or if they will not receive and will not play but one thing i believe that we can conclude. Trainning without receive and under the pression of receive or not receive to play or not play i believe that Amadora players arent with clear head to do the best in field.

Not only for this reason but considering it, considering that FC Porto is in a good run with wins and scoring goals, and considering that Amadora didnt have, this season, one good midfield to press FC Porto i believe that's a good time for one away win. The asian line is AWAY -1 (correct in my opinion considering that they are paying 1,54 match odds) and it seems very good for me.

FC Porto will play without 8 regular players: Bruno Alves, Fernando, Fucile, Helton, Lisandro, Pedro Emanuel, Raul Meireles and Rodríguez will rest but lets see it better.
Helton is the goal keeper, Pedro Emanuel is one central defender who are playing in the left defence and i still without understand why if he is playing in the eleven because he has no velocity.
Fucile is the right defender, Mireles and Fernando are midfielders but defensive midfielders.
Bruno Alves is the best central defender but against one amateur team i believe that it will be not one important miss.
So, in my opinion FC Porto will rest Lisandro and C Rodrigues but to replace them FC Porto have Farias, Mariano Gonzalez, and Tarik Sektioui.
Lucho Gonzalez and Hulk will play. In defense with Rolando, Stepanov, Lino and Benitez FC porto will not have problems. In midfield have Pele, Guarin, Tomaz Costa, Bollati....
FC Porto had some bad results is past recent because rested a few players in Cup and lost. This time, once again, they know that's important not rest all of them because sometimes the weak team plays like a giant in cup. The coach said it once again this week. So he will rest a few players but still go to play at Cinfães with some of the best to win without surprises.
The Portuguese Cup is very important and all teams want to win it, including FC Porto, team who is actually fighting in a lot of competitions.

And who is Cinfães? It's the last team from 3rd league who stays in Portuguese Cup. It's a team with 100% amateur players. This means that all of Cinfães players works in something and, at the end of the day, they join to trainning a little. Anyway i believe that Saturday, when the game starts they will be so motivated and will forget that the physic preparations isnt the same and will do his best to honor the shirt, to honor the team.
Anyway i have to believe that FC Porto will win this game by 2 or more goals.
The Asian line it's a gift in my opinion. FC Porto -2 @ 1.99 ... well, what can i say when the 1X2 is from 1.07 to 1,10?

Paços de Ferreira is really bad this season in 1st league. Usually we see this fighting for one place from 6 to 10 position but the usuall coach is at Leixões doing one suberb work. At home they are better then away but 2 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses is bad for one team that didnt won away yet. P Ferreira is only 1 point above the water line. The coach and the team knows that only with wins one team can increase the moral. Well that's exactly what they will try this sunday against one team from 2nd league. The most important problem is that P Ferreira lost the best stricker. William is injured and will stop at least 4 months. The team strategy was a little playing for him and know they need to change some things. That's a good opportunity to coach test a new strategy because the 1st league comes back in 1 week. Vizela is in 13rd position in second league but, in my opinion, the team isnt so bad as it seems for the position. I believe that they will increase and finish the season in a confortable position. The team will play without important misses and will try do some history with one win at one 1st division team and, at the same way, advance to one round they never hit before in Portuguese Cup.
This season (2 months ago) Vizela received P Ferreira for Portuguese League Cup and P Ferreira won 2-0. Let's see if this time, at home, P Ferreira will repeat the win or will permit to Vizela one small revenge.

Once again i think that the asian line comes out with one small mystake. The correct in my opinion was Home -1 @ 1.98.... and we have it Home -0.75 @ 2.0

Naval isnt bad at all this season in first league. This weak team usually fights to not decrease until the end of the season but, this one, with a good start and with 3 wins and 1 draw at home they have 12 points and be in the middle of the table. They are in a bad run. After won, at home, against FC Porto, they lost 3 games and draw 1. Without winning any single game for more then 30 days they will have here one nice chance to return to wins and advance in the cup. Will be not so easy because it's a cup game and the other team will play with high motivation. Portimonense is from the second leagueand runs in 5th but away just won 1 time. Anyway this team plays fine in defence as we can see for the current season results (3 draws away). They will go to Figueira da Foz to try advance in cup and, at the same time, to try forget the last game there. 4 seasons ago both teams were in the second league. Naval won by 5-0. But the story of these teams playing at Naval shows 2 times a draw and one second home win. Portimonense never won at Naval. Portimonense is in a bad run away with 4 games without score any single game.
Naval has ons very important miss in midfield. Bruno Lazaroni is injured and will not play but against one weak team they will cover. The coach called all other best players and promissed that they will play to win without rest any player. The Portimonense coach it's very experient. He was in first league a few years ago and will try one defensive strategy to surprise in counter attack. Like Naval, Portimonense as one injured but nothing too much important.
The asian line comes out Home -0.75 but, honestly i was waiting for Naval -1.0. For this reason i will increase a little my stake and bet 6/10

Benfica will play at Maritimo with some misses. Yebda and Jorge Ribeiro are both injured, Leo stills in Brasil wth family problems to resolve and the good news are the integration of Luisão, Nuno Gomes and Aimar in the treinment. Probably all will be back to play this very hard game. And i say very hard for a lot of reasons. Maritimo is very good at home and his doing a nice season. Benfica is in a bad run with one loss at Olympiacos and one draw at home with Setubal. H2h Benfica won 3 and draw 3 times recently 6 seasons at Maritimo and probably will return home with other draw or one hard win. I will pick Benfica because they need to come back and, as a big team they are, is very important give one good answer in this game, win, and say to his adversaries that they still playing for the first place. Once again they could finish this round in 1st (if they will win at Maritimo and Leixões didnt won at Guimarães).

Seems a joke and really is. Obviuosly i will not do it, neither will bet more then my 10/10 stake but this is usually the Game of the Year in Portugal. Some things have no explanation, or maybe have and we dont know, but the true is that FC Porto always won at Setubal... well, not always, but since 1982 FC Porto has 15 wins and 5 draws at Setubal. The last draw was 11 years ago. Last season i consider it my game of the year and FC Porto won 3-0.
FC Porto is not so good has last season but they are winning recently games. Sometimes hard wins, that's true but they win and win after win gives extra confidence and this is more true when we talk about good teams. Pedro Emanuel and Sapuranu are misses in defence but nothing so important for one squad so good as FC Porto. Lucho isnt in the best moment but this game could be one nice opportunitty for him show that is one of the best players in first league. Setubal has one very important miss in midfield. Sandro receives one red card last round and is out suspended.
I predict one FC Porto better them the home team playing to win since the first minute and strongly believe that they will win. This is my strongest confidence bet in this weekend so i will place 9/10 on FC Porto -0.75 and 1/10 in the correct score 1-0
